QuestBridge has partnered with Emory, Harvard, Notre Dame, Penn, Stanford and Yale to offer students a unique opportunity to take college-level courses on a top-tier university campus while residing in a dormitory with peers from across the country. These scholarships offer outstanding low-income students a special chance to experience life beyond high school and to see first-hand what to expect from attending a selective university.
• Learn, study, and write at the college level.
• Attend classes in university lecture halls and seminar rooms, and get to know professors.
• Study alongside other high school students from across the country.
• Eat in a university dining hall and stay in a dormitory with a roommate.
• Explore the college campus and facilities, such as the student activities center and library.
Award Specifics:
10 students will receive free counseling from a member of QuestBridge's staff to support their application to one of the summer programs. Students who are accepted will receive a full scholarship. The scholarship will cover the full cost of tuition, travel expenses, and room & board.
Application Instructions:
First of all, check the Selection Criteria for the College Prep Scholarship. Make sure to carefully read and follow all of application instructions found at the program’s website. Applications will be due March 29, 2010.
