ILACHE Scholarship Due June 1st!


Illinois LAtino Council on Higher Education

The Illinois LAtino Council on Higher Education (ILACHE) will award a one time $1000 scholarships to two eligible Latino/a students. Selection will be based on careful review of the following areas:
1) campus involvement,
2) community involvement,
3) academic achievements & goals, and
4) career aspirations.


To be considered, an applicant must be a graduating high school senior or a contiuning college student and enrolled full time during the fall term of the upcoming academic year at a four or two year regionally accredited college or university. Past awardees are ineligible.

A completed application packet consists of:
1) Online application, submitted online,
2) Two letters of recommendation (at least one from a past teacher/faculty member),
3) An official transcript from the high school and/or college, whichever is applicable. The high school transcript must indicate the date of graduation.


Deadline: All above material must be submitted by June 1 of given year. Incomplete and/or late applications will not be considered. Awardees will be notified by September 1st.
