The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) scholarship is for Hispanic undergraduate and graduate students who have been accepted to an accredited vocational school, two-year college, four-year college/university, or graduate school. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be US citizens or legal residents. Grades and academic performance will serve as indicators of potential, but emphasis may be placed on the individual's motivation, sincerity, and integrity, as shown in the personal essay and a personal interview. Students who are related to a scholarship committee member, the Council President, or an individual contributor to the local funds of the Council are not eligible. Applications must be submitted students' local LULAC Council, not to the National LULAC office.
