- This scholarship is for the following individuals: students of Latino/Hispanic descent who live on the Southwest side of Chicago between 16th to 79th streets and between Cicero Avenue (4800 West) and Canal (500 West); or volunteers at Pilsen Neighbors Community Council; or members of the Pilsen Neighbors Community Council.
- To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be graduating high school seniors or current college students accepted or enrolled at an accredited college or university in an undergraduate degree-seeking or certificate program.
- Applicants must have earned a cumulative minimum 2.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need and community or school service. Current college students must be enrolled for a minimum of at least 6 semester hours or its equivalence.
- Award: $1,500
- Deadline: March 15, 2013
