GEAR UP will be taking 5-10 juniors (parents welcome too) from Kelvyn Park to the University of Wisconsin at Madison and University of Wisconsin at Parkside on October 23rd and 24th. In order to qualify for this Friday (no school!) and Saturday overnight trip, you must have a 3.0 GPA and you must submit the following to Mr. Rutschman in room 207 by this Friday afternoon:
-Completed Parent consent form
-Three paragraph essay: "Why do I want to attend this trip?"
And, submit the following by the end of the week next week:
-General Recommendation letter (can be used in the future for something else).
Okay, Friday doesn't give you or your teachers much time. You can submit your letter of recommendation next week as long as you write those 3 paragraphs by Friday.
