What's happening in the CCRC?
The CCRC has undergone some staff transitions this year. There are two new college and career coaches in 207 this year: Ms. DeLeon and one TBA. The GEAR UP team will continue to work with the class of 2011 and 2012, parents, and the Kelvyn Park staff to provide the support students need to succeed beyond high school.
Seniors- in the mean time there is much to do and think about already, like:
*Polishing (or writing) your personal statement
*Identifying the colleges/institutions you would like to apply to, their requirements, and deadlines
*Early decision or special program application deadlines
*Research scholarship opportunities (many deadlines are quickly approaching)
*Signing up to retake the ACT
When can I visit the CCRC?
CCRC staff are available now during lunch or afterschool to help with personal statement writing, college applications, and scholarship applications:
